Slidell chiropractor, Robbin Robertson, D.O., is a native of Mobile, Alabama who moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama in order to get his medical degree. He graduated from Mobile University with a degree in physical therapy, then went on to complete a fellowship in dentistry before becoming a chiropractor in 1969. Now he enjoys spending his days helping people improve their health and well-being.

“Chiropratico” is what Robbin calls his clinic. It is located at 3 Days Lake in Slidell, MS. It is a convenient location for chiropractor visits because it is conveniently located between two large medical offices in downtown Slidell – Drury General and Medley Memorial. In addition, since it is not far from the hospital and doctors’ offices, patients will not need to drive far to get the care they need when seeing Robbin. In fact, most of the times it only takes one trip to the chiropractor before a person can feel better and be able to return to their lives and their daily routines.
There is no doubt that chiropractor Robbin is a genius. I recall my first appointment with him as a patient. It was a very brief appointment lasting only a few minutes. During that time, he explained a physical condition that I did not understand and did not have the slightest idea what it meant. He then proceeded to explain several symptoms and signs associated with that condition, things that I now know because he has told me so many times.
Throughout the discussion, I had a difficult time trying to understand why this chiropractor was telling me so much. I asked him point blank if he was licensed to practice medicine or if he was licensed to treat patients. I was very shocked to learn that neither of these things were true. The fact that he did not have a medical degree nor did he possess any other medical expertise was evident through his response to my questions and his body language.
Rob left the office with several questions that needed to be answered and after talking with him for several more hours on the phone, I came to know that he was indeed licensed to treat people and to work as a chiropractor in Slidell. He informed me that he graduated cum laude and that he had been practicing medicine for approximately eight years. He went on to say that his professional staff has extensive knowledge and experience in rehabilitation care and is dedicated to providing the best treatment available. He went on to tell me how his chiropractor colleagues and himself were members of the American College of Sports Medicine and had received their chiropractor license in the spring of 2021 after completing an eight-year bachelor’s degree.
All in all, I met with a chiropractor who has a passion for his profession and has spent years in training to become a chiropractor. He is caring, kind, and has a genuine concern for the well being of his patients. We discussed several options regarding my back issues and his professional staff has extensive knowledge and experience in rehabilitation care and was able to work with me to formulate the most effective plan for my needs. I had received my six days away from the desk in a very productive manner.
